Bremen is a town located about 115 miles due north of downtown Indianapolis, Indiana and about 15 miles south of South Bend, Indiana. The population of Bremen in 2024 is approximately 4,597 people.
Portions of northern Indiana are home to significant Amish populations, and the area around Bremen is no exception. This presence adds a unique cultural aspect to the region. You might see horse-drawn buggies, Amish farms, and roadside stands selling handmade goods and produce. Campers drive miles to witness the culture and surroundings of Bremen and the nearby smaller towns. They often camp in the Pla-Mor Campground or the Rupert’s Resort and Campground.
Much of Bremen’s industry helps to support the RV manufacturing hubs of nearby Nappanee and Elkhart. The RV/MH Hall of Fame and Museum is located just 30 mile away from Bremen in Elkhart.
