The campground facilities with an Andrews mailing address are located at Salamonie Lake, managed by the Indiana Department of Natural Resources. This is the Lost Bridge West State Recreation Area (SRA). The campgrounds are about 7 miles southwest of Andrews.
This facility has over 240 modern sites with electric service, and numerous water-filling stations. There is a separate primitive area for tent camping, plus additional campsites for those with horses.
Some modern campsites at the Lost Bridge West SRA border the beautiful Salamonie Lake, while others are within close walking or driving distance.
The campgrounds and entire area is a paradise for those who enjoy water activities and beautiful forestry. In addition, there is a large swimming beach available for more fun in the water or sunbathing on a towel.
