Across the country, there is a growing demand for devoting land to equestrians who enjoy camping with their horses. In every state, there are facilities that offer everything from isolated, primitive camping to camping in campgrounds with water and electric hook-ups. Some of today’s modern horse trailers combine horse transportation space and living/camping quarters for their owners and others.

Indiana has several quality camping facilities and an abundance of trails for equestrians.

The goal of RVs and Tents is to provide links to many of these Indiana equestrian facilities along with map locations and current weather conditions.

Camping conditions will vary at all facilities. Some are strictly primitive in nature, while others offer upgraded amenities and accommodations for horses and horse trailers of all sizes. NOTE: Call ahead to facilities for water information. Some water may not be available for human consumption, and some water outlets may be frozen in winter conditions. If water is needed for horse/RV trailers, please check with each
