Shoals is located about 86 miles southwest of downtown Indianapolis, and about 40 miles east of Vincennes. The population of Shoals in 2010 was 756 people.

The Jug Rock, pictured above, is located just outside of Shoals.

Every year, the town hosts the Shoals Catfish Festival, drawing hundreds of visitors to celebrate the 4th of July and the catfish. CLICK HERE to watch a video of the Shoals Catfish Festival.
