Most of this forest covers several separate areas in Owen County and a portion extends into Putnam County near Cagles Mill Lake (Lieber State Recreation Area).
Most activities, such as camping, fishing, mountain biking and horseback riding occur in the Owen County areas.
This state forest is for primitive camping only. There are no hook-ups for RVs.
