Indianapolis is located in the center of the state. It is the capital city of Indiana. The city is surrounded by U.S. Interstate 465 and has 4 interstate highways connected to I-465. These are I-65, I-69, I-70 and I-74. The population of Indianapolis was over 855, 000 people in 2016. The population of the Indianapolis metropolitan area exceeds 2 million people.

The city has 2 large reservoirs nearby to meet it’s need for water. And both provide plenty of water recreation activities.

For those who enjoy bicycling, running, walking, or just getting out in the fresh air to soak up the scenery, there is 18 miles of the Monon Trail to enjoy.
