Henryville is located about 90 miles south of downtown Indianapolis, and about 24 miles southwest of Madison. The population of Henryville in 2010 was
1, 905 people.

Henryville is home to the oldest state forest in Indiana. It is also the birthplace of Colonel Harland Sanders, the founder of Kentucky Fried Chicken.
