Granger is located about 134 miles north of downtown Indianapolis, and about 10 miles northwest of Elkhart. The population of Granger in 2010 was 30,465 people.
The late Ara Parseghian, football coach for Notre Dame during the 60’s and 70’s, moved to Granger in his later years. He later died in this community at the age of 94.
