Fremont is located about 147 miles northeast of downtown Indianapolis, and about 7 miles northeast of Angola. The approximate middle of Fremont is located at the junction of Indiana St. Rd. 120 and Indiana St. Rd. 827. The population of Fremont in 2010 was 2,138 people.
