Dunlapsville is a small, unincorporated community located about 63 miles southeast of downtown Indianapolis, and about 11 miles north of Brookville.
Dunlapsville is located on the northern boundary of the Quakertown State Recreation Area. The community is also about 2 miles west of the Brookville Lake Public Fishing Area. Nearby is the now-defunct Treaty-Line Pioneer Village/Museum.

The main entrance to the Quakertown State Recreation Area is just outside of Dunlapsville, Indiana…………off W. Dunlapsville Rd.
This is one of three state-owned, DNR campgrounds in the area of Brookville Lake, and you can expect easy access to this 8.2 square mile lake. There is a marina located less than a mile into the recreation area from the entrance. There is a swimming beach and parking area less than a 1/4 mile from the entrance. The campground is about 1.5 miles from the Quakertown Marina, about 1 mile from the swimming beach, and less than a mile from the entrance. Excellent fishing and water sport activities are available for everyone. Also close to the campground is the Brookville Lake Public Fishing area.
