Lincoln City is located about 125 miles southwest of downtown Indianapolis, and about 33 miles northeast of Evansville. The population of this community is 76 people.

The community was named for President Abraham Lincoln and his family, who settled on a farm in this region in 1816. A replica of the farm is pictured above.
